What's Included
Expert instructors to guide you through the rod building process and all the building supplies (glue, tools, threads etc.) needed to craft your custom fly rod.
What's Not Included
Fly rod blanks, guides, grip and reel seat. We also have multiple components and rod blanks in various lengths and weights to customize your project.
What to expect
It takes 5-6 classes to finish building your rod. We have hands-on rod smiths to help if you have questions or need some advice.

Private Rod Building Class
$200 per person
Book a private 8-hour class with Certified Rod Smith, Joey Puettman.

There is a minimum of 2 people with a maximum of 8. All tools and building supplies are included. You will need to purchase your fly rod blanks, guides, grip and reel seat. We have multiple components and rod blanks in various lengths and weights to customize your project.
After building your rod, it will need to dry/cure for at least 24 hours. We will work with your schedule for pickup time or shipping can be arranged. Please call the shop to confirm logistics.
