SFR Pro Staff

After moving to Wyoming in 1994, Dean Schaff found his passion for fly fishing. While studying at the University of Wyoming, he explored local rivers and lakes, later continuing his angling adventures in the Bighorn Mountains while teaching in Worland. He taught fly fishing at the Wyoming Boys’ School and led outdoor trips with students.

In 2004, Dean moved to Lander, where he expanded his teaching to include outdoor education and explored Fremont County’s waterways. By 2006, he began floating the Bighorn, Green, and New Fork Rivers, deepening his love for fishing.

Dean eventually turned his passion into a business, sharing his knowledge and helping others experience the joy of fly fishing and the outdoors.
